Shannon Anderson
Physical Therapist Assistant
Shannon received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise & Sports Science from Oregon State University.
Competing as a collegiate runner, she desired to work in a profession that focused on injury rehab and prevention. Upon returning to the Newberg area she was hired at AOPT as a Physical Therapy Aide, which helped her gain experience in physical therapy.
Working in an outpatient facility she grew a passion for working together with patients during their recovery, and helping them achieve their goals. She went on to complete her Physical Therapist Assistant Associates Degree from Mount Hood Community College, and has since made her way back to the clinic to treat patients.
Shannon has enjoyed working with various populations, and focuses on continuing education courses and gaining skills from the therapists at AOPT to help best serve her patients.
Shannon enjoys running, cheering on the Beavers, and spending time with her family outside the clinic.
